Digital Environments

Digital Environments
The use of Digital technology has been a vital component in conceiving and creating this design. Digital photography and manipulation of physical models
Revit 2010 - conceptual massing and form creating
-3d and 2d modeling
- Rendering

The Internet with sites like youtube, archi ninja and of course this blog itself have been very useful so far through out this project. I envisage utilising 3d studio max and hopefully rhino and grasshopper in phase two of this project.

Digital Environments

The design incorporates digital technology through the inclusion of active solar energy generation in the form of sun path following solar sails. The Dojo also features motion capture and analysis facilities to ensure optimum techniques, recode and exhibit virtual training classes and fights and will also serve to chronical the skills techniques and teachings first hand and in 3d of the of Master practitioners and teachers.

Martial Arts Activites

The Design features an Kyudo Archary Range with Short range(28m) and long range (60m) targets.

Accommodation Pods Concept
Training Camps + Full Time Live In Students and Instructor + International Guests

It is the members rather then simply walls that make up the Dojo and up hold its virtues and ideals.

The accommodation pods are configured to form the walls of the Dojo in an interlocking design similar to Samurai Armour.
